Job description

What you’ll do

As a Commercial Manager, you will join our dynamic and entrepreneurial company, contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional commercial strategies and solutions. You will be part of a highly experienced and well-connected team, helping to shape the strategic direction of our clients and driving our business growth.

You will support the Head of Sales and Marketing in all tasks related to the commercial side of the business. You will drive Rotate’s growth by leading customer conversations, providing indepth product demonstrations, and by ensuring Rotate’s brand is known throughout the industry.

As part of the commercial team at Rotate, your responsibilities include:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
Manage and nurture client relationships within client organizations.
Support negotiations and the contracting process.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform commercial decisions.
Collect customer feedback and collaborate with the product team to develop real and practical products for our customers.
Help prepare sales reports and forecasts, and analyze user and product metrics.
Perform commercial administrative tasks.
Collaborate with internal and cross-functional teams to prepare and deploy marketing content.

Where is the position located?
We have chosen to be based in Utrecht within walking distance from the Central Station. We find value in being together as we collaborate to build exciting new products, while offering flexibility to accommodate different ways of working.


Job requirements

What you’ll need
Enthusiasm, drive, and eagerness to drive the growth of Rotate and to help our customers.
Around 2 to 6 years of working experience in the air cargo or logistics industry.
Proven experience in commercial or in a similar roles.
Strong understanding of air cargo/logistics market dynamics and commercial strategies.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong client or supplier relationships with people at all levels.
Proficiency in sales, user, and product performance tracking and analysis.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and international work environment and willing to travel globally.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a other related field. An MBA or relevant professional certification is a plus.
Excellent command of English (written and spoken) – other languages are a great plus.
The ability and willingness to work from our office in Utrecht, the Netherlands.
