Supervisor Customer Service / Import


As a CS Supervisor you will join a dynamic team at our Schiphol location, you will report to the Air Import Manager and you will work in day shifts. You will then work together with your CS team with the Import Operations team.

As an Import Customer Service Supervisor you will actively manage, coach and further develop the Import CS team at Schiphol. You ensure that the available resources, people and resources are used optimally. You are also the escalation point for the customer. As a team you are responsible for the import CS operation. This includes contact with customers, other offices around the world and internal departments such as Import Operations, Business development, Customs and Warehouse to ensure that there is an optimal flow in the process. You will be involved in, among other things:

The daily operational management and development of the Import CS team;
Maintaining customer contact and putting the customer's interests first;
Monitoring and following up the customer/carrier performances aimed at the highest possible quality of service to the customer;
Identifying, elaborating, monitoring, implementing and securing (improvement) projects and new working methods for our processes;
Analyses the results of the team and apply improvements where necessary.

We are looking for someone with demonstrable leadership experience. You are ready for the next step. With your result-oriented attitude you take this team to a higher level. You communicate easily with people from different layers in the organization and with your expertise you lift this team to a higher level. You also have an affinity with logistics & transport. You bring the following knowledge and experience with you:

HBO work and thinking level or similar experience;
Leadership experience is a must;
Strong people skills;
Experience with and knowledge of Air Freight is a plus;
Excellent command of the Dutch or/and English language in word and writing;
Advanced experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Salary negotiable ;
