Accounting Manager / Controller
Functieprofiel:
Accounting Manager/Head of Accounting (Netherlands and Belgium)
Reporting directly to the Group Director Finance & Administration
Leading a team – centralized and located in the centre of the Netherlands.
Main tasks:
• Supervise completion of the month-end closing and statutory financial statement in accordance with local gaap (Netherlands and Belgium)
• Lead and further develop the accounting team
• Ensure compliance between local regulations and Group policies
• Improve the internal control environment and system
• Supervise all accounting and tax matters of the company
• Collaborate with internal departments and external partners
• Supervise the accurate and timely preparation of all outgoing invoices
• Further develop and optimize the order-to-cash, purchase-to-pay and record to report processes along with the implementation of digitalisation and new systems
• Cash flow and treasury management
• Supervise control of debtors and credit control
Experience:
• Knowledge of GAAP and accounting processes
• Experienced with leading a team
• Experienced with monthly group and management reporting
• Experienced with statutory financial reports preparation
• An innovative and structured work approach
• Ability to identify and implement process improvements
• Business acumen and excellent communication skills.
Fluent in Dutch and English
German language skills is a plus, but not essential
