Nachtdistributie door nox NightTimeExpress Belgium NV leent zich ideaal voor het vervoer van reserveonderdelen naar dealers en personeel in de technische dienstverlening. Wij bedienen dan ook klanten uit de auto-industrie, landbouw, materiaalbehandeling en -transport, bouw en techniek, biowetenschappen en hoogwaardige technische industrie. Onze klanten hechten over het algemeen grote waarde aan de procesoptimalisatie van hun ontvangers.

Met ons uitgebreide netwerk bieden wij onze klanten snelle en kwalitatief hoogwaardige oplossingen voor hun distributievraagstukken. Bij nox NightTimeExpress Belgium NV hebt u het voordeel van een late orderplaatsing in combinatie met een vroege levering, oftewel om 7 of 8 uur in de ochtend.

Vaak worden zendingen buiten de aanwezigheid van de ontvangende partij afgeleverd in een gebouw, kofferbak of een speciale kluis.

Purpose of the role:

The Country Director Operations (CDOps) is the highest-ranking operations manager in their assigned country, which might consist of various operational locations. In the assigned country they are responsible for providing premium service in the overnight express segment. This is characterized by consistent, disciplined, and most efficient implementation and continuous improvement of operational process standards. The CDOps inspires, supports, and challenges every employee in their country, either directly or through delegation, creating an atmosphere of enthusiasm, a "can-do" mentality, and a positive spirit, always in line with the values and corporate culture of nox.

Responsibiltes:

• Selecting, managing and continuously coaching and developing employees in a goal- and results-oriented manner, including the identification of training needs.

• Ensuring the implementation and consistent application of process standards in the country and forwarding improvement ideas to the LEAN and Quality departments.

• Responsibility for achieving all overarching goals regarding quality, productivity, and cost-effectiveness in the area of responsibility.

• Compliance - adherence to all financial and legal requirements, including social, environmental, occupational safety, and dangerous goods regulations and guidelines (external and nox-internal).

• Preparation and responsibility for the operational budget (costs, productivity, personnel, and damages) for the assigned region together with the Director Operations.

• Preparing and negotiating contracts with service providers and sub-contractors to ensure

• Active participation in shaping and developing strategic structures (including personnel structure, system partner structure) in the country, taking into account the overarching quality, budget, and corporate strategy goals.

• Conducting regular development and feedback meetings with all direct reports, including setting and monitoring target agreements.

• Participation in departmental and cross-functional projects. Representing Operations in commercial discussions with customers and key accounts.

• Vacation and sick leave cover for the CDOps of other regions. cost structures while providing superior service.

 

Requirements:

• Completed business administration degree or comparable qualification with a focus on operations.

• Training/experience in LEAN management or other methods of continuous improvement (desirable).

• Several years of relevant professional experience, preferably in the transportation & distribution sector.

• Strong business acumen and very good analytical understanding of figures.

• Modern leadership qualities, team player with a hands-on mentality, communicative and open-minded.

• Results-focused with strong delegation skills.

• Promotion of innovation and customer orientation.

• Highly resilient, flexible, and able to deal with change.

• Skilled negotiator with win-win value creation mindset.

• Assertiveness and strong communication skills.

• Willingness to travel.

• English, French and Dutch (fluent in speech and writing).

• Experience in using MS Office products.

• Process quality (including scanning and on-time delivery performance, loss & damage ratios).

• Transport costs of the region (including stop costs).

• Personnel costs of the region.

• Employee development in the region.

• Close cooperation with other departments such as Sales and Customer Service as well as Group departments.
