Customer Service Agent (full-time)

Major Tasks:

• Reservations & Confirmations 
• Pro-active in telephone sales & business acquisition
• Timely quotation on ad-hoc requests
• Track & Trace activities & follow up
• Handle all telephone enquiries regarding loading details, capacities, special handling and transit requirements and ensure that any irregularities are managed efficiently and unsolved issues are followed up and monitored
• Maintaining AWB distribution & monitor AWB Stock Control
• Flight capacity control & remaining capacity is actively sold
• Handling & Reporting of irregularities & follow up
• Handling CCA´S request
• Handling CSR Reports & CASS queries
• Handling, maintaining Monthly / Weekly Pre-Bookings & Allotments

Education, experience & qualifications:

• Commercial apprenticeship or education, preferably logistics related
• Work experience in an international logistics company /airline of at least 2 years
• Excellent Customer Service & Organizational Skills
• Good knowledge of the English language, verbal and written
• Understanding of weights, measures, arithmetic skills
• Basic knowledge of customs rules and regulations, special handling of restricted items and commonly practised safety procedures and guidelines
• Basic working knowledge of PC software programs MS – Excel – Word – Outlook – Cargo   Reservation System 
• Decisive and self starting attitude with energy and motivation to be effective in a very demanding environment.
