Functieprofiel:
The Area Sales Manager has no direct reports and is responsible for an area and assigned portfolio of customers. The employee reports to the director of sales on the results and progress of KPI’s..The Area Sales Manager is responsible for a portfolio of customers. The area sales manager is responsible for revenue growth of existing customers and expansion of the portfolio with adding new customers. Responsibilities:
• Generate revenue and gross margin within the region within the commercial aviation industry based on short, middle and long-term organization goals.
• Maintain current business relations and attract new customers within the commercial airline industry.
• Position Driessen as a high-quality supplier and provide value of ownership with a local presence and good after sales service.
• Support other Team Members to ensure high customer appreciation, supporting market growth.
• Participate in cross-functional strategic business unit processes and initiatives.
The Area sales Manager creates independently the account planning and scheduled his/her workload independently. The Sales Director maintains contact with customers level and works together with all departments within the organization.
The Area Sales Manager is an autonomous position and conversations with the manager are regarding the progress of the sales pipeline, opportunities and progress on projects.
Skills:
• 5-10 years of management or commercial related sales experience.
• Bachelor degree or master's in business administration / economics or equivalent working experience
• Excellent knowledge of English , and preferably one additional language is required.
• Understanding of the aviation industry
